teen influences

i first listened to the moffatts when i was in secondary 1. and now, so many years later, i feel that their music has shaped a lot of the type of music that i write today. i wonder if i will ever 'grow out' of it. probably not, heh.. i wonder what would have happened if i had listened to stevie wonder or ray charles when i was 13 - my music-making would probably be different now. but hey, i'm not complaining. there are so many good memories i had listening to the moffatts!!
